Next Saturday, January 28th is Distribution Day from 8:00 until 10:30. If you can help on Thursday, bagging will start around 9:00.

We will have our December distribution at the Food Pantry this Saturday from 8:00 until 10:30. Bagging will be Thursday starting at 9:30.

We consider ourselves extremely blessed to have the support of each of you whether as volunteers, donors, food drive hosts, fundraisers, our wonderful police reserve officers or in the so many other different ways that people have come to our aid this year. God has truly blessed us these past 3 years but we have especially seen His hands on us this year and for that, we are so thankful!!!!

Come join us this Saturday as we help feed those in Grenada County who need our help! But, if you can’t make it, we wish you a Blessed and Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!!

Hello Everyone,
It’s so hard to believe that the year has zoomed by and once again we are closing in on Thanksgiving!!! Jan and I are SO VERY THANKFUL for each and every one of YOU – our faithful volunteers!!! We could not take care of the Food Pantry without you! God has truly blessed us this year…when finances got low, a check would appear in the mail and we would make it through to the next month. This happened time after time so we know that what we are doing is a good thing and He is continuing to carry us through!

We just wanted to remind everyone that our Thanksgiving distribution will be the third Saturday, so that is only a week and a half away. The date will be November 19th from 8:00 until 10:30 with bagging of the groceries being done on Thursday, November 17th starting at 9:00 a.m.

Come help us if you can and if not, we hope you have a Blessed Thanksgiving!!!!

Distribution for the Grenada Food Pantry will be this Saturday, July 23rd from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30. This month was the month we held a special re-certification day for our recipients. Approximately one third of them came to register that day – so the other two thirds (600-800 people) will be registering on Saturday. We will definitely need your help!

Bagging will be tomorrow morning starting at 9:00 a.m.

We are sure that you have seen the news lately about our financial condition. Our largest funding source has been a grant from the Emergency Food and Shelter Program. As yet, the program has not received an appropriation from Congress for 2011 since no budget has been set for the year. Our other funding comes from local contributions and they have decreased with the economic downturn. We have faith that we will make it through this and we will be able to continue helping those in Grenada who depend on us. If you are looking to do any fundraisers in whatever groups you belong to, we would appreciate your consideration.
