Reminder: Grenada Food Pantry Distribution is THIS SATURDAY! 🕒

We have fresh and non-perishable groceries ready for qualifying individuals in our community who need a hand.

When:   Saturday – September 26th from 8-10 a.m.

Where:  19 Green Street (behind the Grenada Police Dept)

Handicapped recipients will drive through on Green Street. All others will park and come inside on the Main Street side. (If you did not come to recertify on July 8th, you will have to do so this Saturday! To complete a new application, you must bring:  proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County and a photo ID. All recipients MUST have the 2026-2027 ID card).

VOLUNTEERS – you are needed on Thursday for bagging at 9:00 a.m.and again on Saturday, distribution day, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.

ADDITIONAL NOTICE RE JULY RECERITIFICATION:   All recipients must be recertified for 2026-2027 before our July distribution date on the 4th Saturday.  We will hold this recertification on Wednesday, July 8th from 9:00 a.m. until noon.

We are proceeding with having distribution this Saturday, February 7th, from 8:00 until 10:00.  We are hopeful that most of you have power now but if not, that it is soon restored.

We are predicted to have temps around 16-18 early this Saturday morning.  A large portion of our regular volunteers say they are unable to come due to no power or being out of town due to not having power.

We have therefore decided not to distribute again this weekend. We will send out another email when we reschedule.
