We are proceeding with having distribution this Saturday, February 7th, from 8:00 until 10:00.  We are hopeful that most of you have power now but if not, that it is soon restored.

We are predicted to have temps around 16-18 early this Saturday morning.  A large portion of our regular volunteers say they are unable to come due to no power or being out of town due to not having power.

We have therefore decided not to distribute again this weekend. We will send out another email when we reschedule.

UPDATE – We have decided to postpone our distribution until next Saturday, January 31st.  Please help us get this message out.  WE WILL STILL BE BAGGING GROCERIES TOMORROW THOUGH!!  PLEASE CONSIDER HELPING WITH THAT!  9:00 UNTIL COMPLETED.

The Grenada Food Pantry will have distribution this Saturday, December 20th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the location by the Grenada Police Department and City Auditorium. Handicapped recipients will drive through on Green Street. All others will park and come inside on the Main Street side. (If you did have not recertified for the 2025-2026 year, you must complete a new application. Bring proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County and a photo ID. All recipients MUST have the 2025-2026 ID card).
VOLUNTEERS – you are needed on Thursday for bagging at 9:00 a.m. and again on  Saturday, distribution day, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Hello to all,

We are expecting a huge turnout this week so your help and prayers would be greatly appreciated!! Please pass the word at your local churches, work and other groups you are involved with.  With there being 5 Saturdays this month, it feels like we are really early with out 3rd Saturday distribution, but yet, with all the phone calls from SNAP beneficiaries, our timing will help a lot of people.  We wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving!!
