Grenada Food Pantry

Merry Christmas everyone!!!  We appreciate each and every one of you for your support of the Food Pantry – whether it is giving of your time to volunteer, supporting us monetarily or praying for us!!  We couldn’t do this without you!

The Grenada Food Pantry will have distribution this Saturday, December 20th from 8:00 to 10:00 a.m. at the location by the Grenada Police Department and City Auditorium. Handicapped recipients will drive through on Green Street. All others will park and come inside on the Main Street side. (If you did have not recertified for the 2025-2026 year, you must complete a new application. Bring proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County and a photo ID. All recipients MUST have the 2025-2026 ID card).
VOLUNTEERS – you are needed on Thursday for bagging at 9:00 a.m. and again on  Saturday, distribution day, from 7:00 to 10:00 a.m.

Hello to all,

We are expecting a huge turnout this week so your help and prayers would be greatly appreciated!! Please pass the word at your local churches, work and other groups you are involved with.  With there being 5 Saturdays this month, it feels like we are really early with out 3rd Saturday distribution, but yet, with all the phone calls from SNAP beneficiaries, our timing will help a lot of people.  We wish each of you a blessed Thanksgiving!!

Handicapped recipients will drive through on Green Street. All others will park and come inside on the Main Street side. (If you did have not recertified for the 2025-2026 year, you must complete a new application. Bring proof of income for the household, proof of residency in Grenada County and a photo ID. All recipients MUST have the 2025-2026 ID card).
