Grenada Food Pantry

Just a reminder that distribution from the Grenada Food Pantry is this Saturday, October 27th from 8:00 until 10:00. Bagging will be on Thursday from 9:00 until complete.

So great to hear about food drives going on for us!!! Keep them going – we use over 3000 cans per month in the bags!!!

We continue to be thankful for each and every one of you for your support and hard work!! REMEMBER – we could NOT do this without YOU!!!!

Hey everyone – hope you are enjoying this cool weather! Just a reminder that distribution from the Grenada Food Pantry is this Saturday, September 22nd from 8:00 until 10:00. Bagging will be on Thursday from 9:00 until complete.

Also – please know that we are still short on canned goods. We encourage all groups wanting to fund-raise for us to consider doing a canned good drive. The economy is still struggling and our monthly number is still 900 to 1000 needing food. Our food sources are limited so WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Grenada Food Pantry will have distribution this Saturday, August 25th, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Volunteers are needed starting at 7:45.

ON Thursday, bagging day, volunteers are needed from 9:00 a.m. until complete.

Distribution for the Food Pantry will be this Saturday, July 28th starting at 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. This is likely to be a very BUSY month as it will be the first distribution for the new fiscal year and all of those recipients who did NOT come to be re-certified on July 10th will have to re-register Saturday morning.

Bagging will be Thursday, the 26th starting at 9:00 a.m. until completed.

Food Pantry Re-certification
The Grenada Food Pantry will have a special day to re-certify all recipients for the 2012-2013 fiscal year on Tuesday, July 10th from 8:00 a.m. until noon. Please come on this day to fill out a new application. You must bring with you: 1- proof of income (pay stub, printout from the Social Security office, verification letter from the food stamp office, etc.) and 2- something showing where you live in Grenada county (driver’s license, utility bill, etc.) If you have any questions, call Kim McRee at 417-6210 or Jan Willis at 809-1802.
